We are passionate about genealogy!

James M. Rose, PhD received his doctorate in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in African-American genealogy. In the 1970’s, he served as a research consultant with Alex Haley on the Kinte Library Project, a forerunner of Haley’s Roots. Rose and co-author Alice Eichholz, founded the Ethnic Genealogy Research Center at Queens College (N.Y.)  Dr. Rose is the author of a number of books on African-American genealogy. He is an accomplished researcher and lecturer.

Ari Wilkins is an experienced researcher and speaker. She has lectured nationally at conferences such as The National Genealogy Society, Samford University's Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research and the American Library Association.
